Happy people are high-performing individuals, and for employees to cultivate happiness and excel at work, they need to not only experience it but also live and breathe it. Unfortunately, in many instances, employee well-being takes a back seat to stringent targets and profit margins. Employees often find themselves regarded more as machines than as living, feeling individuals, leading to a detrimental cycle of over-fatigue, stress, and workplace conflicts.
In this session, the participants are introduced to the concept of happiness within the ambit of well-being theory. The elements of well-being are discussed, deconstructed, and examined, with the aim of equipping them with strategic ways to utilize the concept and improve employee happiness and work-life balance in this post-pandemic era.
